The Four

It’s somewhat fascinating.

What is it about the structure of four that it is so recurring?  There are all sorts of different groupings– a duo, a triad, and of course a quartet. I think it’s interesting to look them over and see similarities, differences, humorous elements and significant elements. I’m not into numerology– it’s mainly a bunch of hogwash. But I love patterns and enjoy collecting interesting ideas.

This will be a series of looking at how different numbered groupings show up through history, art, pop culture, and elsewhere. Enjoy it if you will– but this might simply be for me. 🙂
