Well, here is a glimpse of an art series that I’ve been planning for a couple years now– that could potentially take years to finish… which is why I haven’t actually started on it. It’s a little intimidating.
Part of me wants to save it all until it’s finished and I share a final product, but no, I should go ahead and put this out there, see what people think.
The ZOIIE (meaning “life”) art series is taken from the verses of Scriptures. Specifically, it consists of one small art piece for every verse in the Bible. All 31,102 of them (depending on the translation). Each book of the Bible will utilize different materials and styles, and here is a glimpse of Genesis. See if you can determine the story in Genesis chapter 1, verses 1-20.
